Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to lead and enhance our finance department. The ideal candidate will take initiative, bring fresh ideas, and contribute positively to our vibrant team culture. Your role will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with coaches to coordinate and collect payments, ensuring prompt and efficient transactions.
- KPI Tracking: Regularly track and report on key performance indicators and departmental metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the finance department and implement effective solutions.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with management.
- Team Contribution: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, aligning with our team culture and values.
- Initiative: Take proactive steps to streamline processes and enhance financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Experience in a similar industry or with a growing company is a plus.
